Looking back, half the journey was storm and rain, and half was quiet peace.
The moments I once thought I could never endure have now faded into the distance. And what remains, strangely enough, has become a gift bestowed upon me by time.
As a child, I often wondered why we live. Only as the years unfolded did I begin to understand: perhaps we are here simply to behold the world as it truly is, to walk through darkness and light, and to discover that between black and white lie countless shades beyond their borders.
Despair has visited me, yet hope, too, has quietly taken root.
Little by little, I came to understand that where we begin need not determine where we end. The paths we follow, the people we become— these, after all, are still ours to choose.
As for the winds and storms along the way, once we have traveled far enough and turned to look behind us, they seem no more than passing weather.
A lifetime is too vast to be captured in a few hurried words.
For now, I wish only to live this moment fully, and, little by little, to become who I truly am.
May you and I, having walked through all that life may bring, still see the world with clarity, and meet it with a quiet, untroubled heart.
